A per-order margin worked out on the fees each marketplace shows, so every price starts from what you keep, not from a guess.

What is included

What pricing management covers

  • A per-order margin sheet

Selling price down to what you keep, with fees, GST, shipping and returns. Amazon's fees come from its fee page; for Flipkart you enter the figures your seller account shows.

  • Break-even and target price

The lowest price you can sell at, and the price that gets you the margin you want.

  • Price by marketplace

One product laid out side by side across marketplaces, each on its own fee figures, with the date on the sheet.

  • Ad-aware margin

What is left once an ad cost is taken, so advertising decisions start from the real number.

  • Fee-change watch

Amazon's fee page read on a rhythm we agree in the quote, with a note when a change touches your products. For Flipkart, a fresh sheet when you send the new figures.

  • A sheet you keep

The workings delivered as a file you own, so you can test a price yourself.

What you provide

What you provide and what stays yours

You provide

  • Your cost per unit, and any packaging, shipping or storage you carry.
  • Your GST position, and what you expect to spend on ads per order.
  • The prices you are considering, and your margin target.

Stays yours

  • Every pricing decision. We lay out the numbers; you choose.
  • The sheet and all the workings.
  • Your accounts on each marketplace.

How it runs

How the work runs, step by step

  1. Collect your costs

Cost, packaging, shipping and tax position per product, written down once.

  2. Apply each marketplace's fees

Amazon's referral, closing, weight and fulfilment fees from its fee page, with the date read. For Flipkart, the figures your seller account shows, with the date you entered them.

  3. Show the options

Prices side by side, with what you keep at each one.

  4. Re-check when fees change

A note when Amazon's fee page changes in a way that touches your products, and a fresh sheet when you send new Flipkart figures.

The margin sheet showing a per-order cost waterfall for one product
Our free margin sheet, a real tool on this site. It shows the waterfall from selling price to what you keep, per order.

Why choose us

What stays the same on every job

  • Tools we built for our own work

The margin sheet, the image check and the A+ builder are free to use. They came out of our own work, not a lead trap.

  • Scripted checks before anything ships

Sites go through an automated check before every release. Listing images go through the same pixel checks as the free tool.

  • We say what we cannot promise

No sales figure, no rank, no return on ad spend is promised. Each service page lists what we do not promise.

  • A fixed quote, in writing

One working day after a short brief you get the deliverable, the price and the date. That is the price.

Do you know what you keep on the last unit you sold?

Try the free margin sheet, or send us a product and its cost. We reply with a fixed quote in writing.

Straight talk

What we do not promise

  • We do not run a repricing tool, and we do not promise the Buy Box or any position on a page.
  • We do not promise a profit figure. Your costs, returns and ad spend decide it.
  • We do not set your price for you. We show what each price leaves.

In depth

Why the selling price is the wrong number to decide on

Selling price is not what you keep

A marketplace order has several deductions between the price a buyer pays and the money that reaches your bank. On Amazon the fees include a referral fee, a closing fee and a weight-handling fee, and the amounts depend on the category, the price band, the type of fulfilment, the weight and the shipping zone (Source: sell.amazon.in/fees-and-pricing, read 6 Oct 2026). Then there is GST on the fees, the cost of the goods, the packaging, the returns and any ad cost. A price that looks healthy before these can be thin after them.

Amazon publishes its fee schedule (Source: sell.amazon.in/fees-and-pricing, read 6 Oct 2026). Flipkart's seller site lists a Fees and Commission section, but the rate card itself sits inside the seller account, so for Flipkart the sheet uses the figures you enter, with the date. The fee figures in our free margin sheet were last verified on 18 Sep 2026. Fees change, so a stale sheet is dangerous, and ours carries its date.

The waterfall

We lay the order out as a waterfall: selling price at the top, each deduction as a step down, and what you keep at the bottom. The same waterfall gives a break-even price, the price at which you keep nothing, and a target price, the one that gives the margin you want. Seeing the steps makes it obvious which one to fight. Sometimes it is the fee band, sometimes the shipping weight, sometimes the return rate.

You can try this yourself with the free margin sheet: pick a marketplace, enter a product and read the waterfall. Our paid work is doing it across your range, adding the ad cost, keeping it current and walking you through the options.

Price, ads and stock belong together

A price decision changes what an ad can afford. If margin is thin, the PPC break-even is low and ad spend must be tight. A price that is right for Amazon may not be right for another marketplace. And a price you cannot hold because the stock is not there is a plan on paper. That is why this page sits next to catalogue and inventory management.

What we do not do is run a repricer or chase the lowest price on the shelf. Racing to the bottom is a choice, and it should be a choice made with the waterfall in front of you. We promise the workings and the dates. Margin itself depends on your costs, your returns and your competitors, and none of those are ours to promise.

A short note on timing and festivals. Prices that look right in a normal month can look different in a sale period, when fees, shipping and returns behave differently. On request we run the workings for a busy period ahead of time, so a promotion price is chosen with the margin in view rather than discovered afterwards. The decision to run a sale stays yours; the numbers simply arrive before it, not after.

Questions

Common questions

Where do your fee numbers come from?

Amazon's come from its fee page (read 6 Oct 2026). Flipkart shows its rate card to registered sellers in the seller dashboard, so for Flipkart the sheet uses the figures you enter, with the date. The margin sheet shows the date its own fee figures were verified.

Do you change my prices for me?

No. We show what each price leaves, and you decide. If you give us permission in an account, we make only the change you approve.

Do you use a repricing tool?

No. We do not run a repricer, and we do not promise the Buy Box.

Is the margin sheet free?

Yes. It runs in your browser, uploads nothing and needs no sign-up.

Does this include GST?

The sheet handles the GST on marketplace fees and your GST position as you enter it. For tax advice, please ask your accountant.
