Quick commerce

Quick-commerce management: one brand, several apps, one set of records

When a brand sells through more than one quick-commerce app, the risk is drift: three apps, three versions of the same pack. We keep one set of records and read every app against it. Each app decides its own listing.

What we prepare

What we manage across quick-commerce apps

  • One pack-data record

The printed MRP, net quantity, barcode and composition of every product, held once and compared with each app's listing.

  • A regular consistency read

A short written note, on a rhythm we agree in the quote: where an app's listing differs from the record, and what to correct in your account.

  • Stock against orders

Stock figures and a simple reorder line per app, so a fast-moving product is not left empty.

  • Price agreement

A single list of the prices you intend, read against each app and against your other channels.

  • Licence and label watch

A dated list of licences with their renewal points, and the licence number as printed on each pack.

You provide

  • Your own seller or brand access to each app, which stays in your name.
  • Stock and order figures from each app, and your reorder rules.
  • A decision-maker for price and range.

Each app decides

  • Whether each app lists the brand, and its terms.
  • Which stores and cities carry a product.
  • What its dashboards show, and when.

Who can sell

Who can list a brand on quick-commerce apps

Each app decides which brands it lists. The one public rule that applies to food brands comes from FSSAI, the food regulator.

Documents

Documents the apps ask for

Each app lists the documents it needs in its own form. For food, the FSSAI licence or registration number is the one public requirement we can point to.

How it works

Who does what on a regular cycle

  1. You

Give read access to each app

Only the access the job needs, in your own accounts, with nothing routed through us.

  2. Us

    Build the one record

Pack data, price intent and licence dates, in one sheet that every comparison starts from.

  3. Us

Read each app against the record

A short note of differences, with the fix for each, sent on the rhythm agreed in the quote.

  4. You

    Correct and reorder

You make the changes in your own accounts and place the reorders. We do not hold your stock decisions.

  5. Each app decides

    Its own listing and terms

Each app decides what it lists and on what terms. We report and do not argue with a dashboard.

Fees

Fees on the apps

We print no figure for any of the four apps; each sets its own terms.

Why choose us

What stays the same on every job

  • One record, checked against the pack

Every comparison starts from the pack in your hand, so a difference is clear when it appears.

  • Your accounts, your decisions

We read and report. You change prices, stock and listings yourself.

  • No terms we cannot source

Each app sets its own supply terms, so none are claimed here.

In depth

Keeping a brand consistent across quick-commerce apps

Why consistency is the whole job

A quick-commerce app is a short shelf in a nearby dark store, seen through a phone. When the same brand is on several of them, small differences appear: a pack name abbreviated differently, a size missing on one, an image from last year's pack on another. Each is minor. Together they make the brand look unmanaged and cause avoidable support questions.

Management here means keeping one record and comparing every app against it on a regular beat. Our pages for Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart and BigBasket each say what a brand prepares and who decides.

The one public rule we can point to

Each app sets its own supply terms, margins and document lists, so we state none. For food brands, one public rule does exist, from the food regulator. FSSAI's licensing FAQ says a platform that only lists food businesses must "list only those FBOs who possess valid FSSAI License or Registration", that food businesses providing an e-commerce platform for sale need a licence in the e-commerce category, and that businesses declare the 14-digit licence or registration number on cash receipts, invoices and bills.

The FAQ document is marked as last updated on 1 December 2021, so check the current position with your adviser. We keep a dated list of your licences and make sure the number printed on each pack matches the one on your papers. That is a records job, and it is a good one to automate with a sheet.

What the regular beat looks like

On the rhythm agreed in the quote we read every app's listing for your products against the record and write down the differences: name, size, price, image, licence line. You get a short note and fix the items in your own accounts. We also watch stock against orders and flag the product that is running low on one app while another has plenty.

This sits beside catalogue management, inventory management and pricing management, which describe the same jobs for larger marketplaces. We promise the record, the written note and the dated follow-up. We do not promise a listing, a margin, a sell-through rate or a sales result, and each app decides its own terms.

Questions

Common questions

Do you list my products on the apps?

No. Each app decides its own listing and you work in your own accounts. We keep the record and report where an app differs from it.

What are the apps' margins and minimums?

Each app sets its own, so we state none.

Does a food brand need an FSSAI licence?

FSSAI's licensing FAQ says platforms listing food businesses must list only those with a valid licence or registration. Source and date are printed above. Confirm your own case with your adviser.

Is this only for large brands?

No. The record and the regular note work for a brand with a handful of products on two apps.
