What we prepare

What we prepare for Zepto

  • A first-order range

The four to six lines you would want on a shelf first, chosen for repeat use, with pack sizes and the reason each is on the list.

  • A pack-details table

Net quantity, printed MRP, barcode, ingredients or composition and usage line, copied from the pack as sold.

  • Tile-ready photographs

A front-of-pack image we test at the size of a phone tile and a second image that shows the back panel clearly.

  • A product line for each pack

One plain sentence of what the product is and who it is for, written without claims the pack does not make.

  • Papers in one folder

Licences, registrations and test reports you hold, named and dated, with the licence number shown where it is printed on the pack.

You provide

  • The pack as sold and your real supply capacity.
  • Your licences and registrations.
  • A decision on the one or two products to lead with.

Zepto decides

  • Whether Zepto lists the brand, and the terms on which it does.
  • Which of its stores and cities carry the product.
  • All commercial terms.

Who can sell

Who can sell on Zepto

Approval is by Zepto. Zepto lists the documents it needs in its own sign-up form; we go through it with you when you apply.

Documents

Documents Zepto asks for

We print no document list and no count for Zepto. We go through its sign-up form with you when you apply, so the papers are ready.

How it works

Who does what

  1. You

    Pick the lead products

Choose items that people buy again and again. A repeat product makes a shorter and stronger case than a one-off.

  2. Us

Build the range and pack sheets

One row per pack with printed details and a photograph.

  3. You

Ask Zepto for its current brand route

Ask Zepto how a brand should apply, and tell us.

  4. Zepto decides

    Listing and terms

Zepto decides whether to list the brand and how. We do not guess its terms.

  5. Us

Match the sheets to its form

When Zepto tells you what it needs, we map each field to your sheets and write down what is missing.

Fees

Fees on Zepto

We print no Zepto margin, minimum or fee figure; Zepto sets its own terms.

Why choose us

What stays the same on every job

  • Zepto decides, and we say so

We print no Zepto terms, and we do not borrow terms from other sites.

  • Repeat-use thinking

A short list chosen for repeat purchase is easier to talk about than a long catalogue.

  • Papers named and dated

A tidy folder is a small sign to a reviewer that the brand is run properly.

In depth

Getting ready for a Zepto conversation

Where a brand starts

Approval is by Zepto, and what it needs is shown in its own form or by its team.

We keep this page short because what Zepto asks of a brand is Zepto's to say.

Choosing what to lead with

A dark store holds a limited range for nearby homes, so the first conversation with any quick-commerce app tends to be about a handful of products, not a whole catalogue. Choose the ones people buy repeatedly: things that are used up and bought again. That is a judgement about your product, and we help you make it by looking at the pack, the price and the way it is used.

For each lead product we write one plain line of description and test the photograph at the size of a phone tile. If the pack name cannot be read at that size, we say so and suggest a retake. These small checks cost little and are done before anyone at Zepto sees the product.

Papers and what follows

Keep licences and test reports in one folder, named and dated. For food, FSSAI's public licensing FAQ says food businesses declare their 14-digit licence or registration number on invoices and bills, and that platforms listing food businesses must list only those with a valid licence or registration; we give the source on our quick-commerce management page. That is FSSAI's rule, not Zepto's.

If Zepto does take a brand on, the daily work is stock that matches orders, a catalogue that stays accurate and prices that agree with your other channels. See inventory management and catalogue management. We make no promise of a listing, a date, a margin or a sales number.

Questions

Common questions

How does a brand get listed on Zepto?

Ask Zepto how a brand should apply. We prepare the sheets and papers a conversation will need.

What does Zepto ask for?

Zepto's own form or team will say. We go through it with you when you apply, and we print no list.

What are Zepto's margins and fees?

Zepto sets its own terms, so we state none.

Will you get me onto Zepto?

No. Zepto decides. We make the preparation as good as we can and keep a written log.

Ready for a fixed quote?

Send three sentences: what you sell, what is not working, what you want by when. The quote comes in writing within one working day, and it names the deliverable, the price and the date.
