What the Radar extension reads, what it keeps, and what leaves your computer.
The privacy policy for ZAIV DIGITAL RADAR, the Chrome extension for amazon.in sellers, from version 1.3.0, and for the Radar Cloud account it can send to.
Radar is made by Anayza Enterprises (trading as Zaiv Digital), a GST-registered proprietorship in Kalkaji, New Delhi. "We" below means that business. This page describes the extension's own code. The zaivdigital.com website, including this page, has its own policy at /privacy/.
Effective 4 October 2026.
1. The short version
On an amazon.in search-result or product page, Radar adds one small RADAR tab and does nothing else until you click it. When you click the tab, it reads the page you have open, inside your own browser, to draw its panel. It never opens, loads or requests any other amazon.in page. Nothing you read leaves your computer until you press Send, and then it goes only to your own Radar Cloud account. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it for anything except running Radar for you.
2. Which pages it reads
The extension runs on two kinds of amazon.in page. On them it adds a RADAR tab at the side of the page, and that tab is all it adds. It reads nothing from the page and draws nothing else until you click the tab yourself; a click made by a script on the page does not open it. After your click it reads only the page that is already open in your tab:
- Search resultsamazon.in/s… — the page you get when you search on amazon.in
- Product pagesamazon.in/dp/…, amazon.in/<product name>/dp/… and amazon.in/gp/product/…
It loads only on amazon.in addresses that begin with /s (search results, and a few other pages such as seller-profile and store pages) and on product pages, and on no other amazon.in page. On a page that is not a search or product page the tab appears but there is nothing to read, and nothing is read until you click. It never runs on Seller Central, the advertising console, sign-in pages, checkout, the cart, payment pages, your account pages or your orders. It never signs in to Amazon, never asks for an Amazon password, and reads no cookies.
Radar requests no Amazon pages. It does not open pages in the background, follow links, load more results or refresh anything on a timer. Once you have opened the panel, the only thing it loads from Amazon is each product's thumbnail in the table, from Amazon's image server, using the same image link the search page already shows, which your browser usually holds already. If Amazon shows a security check instead of the page, the panel says nothing was read. Because the RADAR tab and the panel are drawn on the amazon.in page itself, amazon.in's own scripts can see that they are there, and so can tell that the extension is installed; they cannot see your Radar Cloud account or your email address.
3. What it reads from the page
Only after you click the RADAR tab, and only from the page in that tab:
- On a search-result pageThe search term; whether the page is the Amazon Business view, which shows whether you are browsing with an Amazon Business account; and how many results are marked Sponsored. Then, for each result that is not Sponsored: its position on the page, ASIN, title, price, MRP and discount, star rating, review count, Amazon's own "bought in past month" badge as printed, whether it is marked Prime, and its image link. Sponsored results are counted, not read.
- On a product pageThat product's ASIN, and the ASIN the page itself names as canonical; title, brand, price and MRP; star rating, review count and the full star-rating breakdown (the share at each level from one to five stars); Amazon's "bought in past month" badge as printed; up to four Best Sellers Ranks shown, each with its category; weight and dimensions where printed; date first available; stock status as printed, and the "only N left in stock" count where Amazon prints one; whether it is fulfilled by Amazon; the seller name shown on the page and the number of other sellers; the variation list: how many variations there are, their types (such as size or colour) and, where the page lists them, the parent ASIN and each variation's ASIN; manufacturer, packer, country of origin and material as printed; the bullet points and the product description; the number of images and their image links; whether the page has A+ content or a video; the return, replacement or non-returnable policy as printed, and whether Amazon marks the item as frequently returned; Amazon's "Customers say" review summary, meaning the topics it lists and how many reviews mention each; for up to ten of the reviews shown on the page, Amazon's own reference for the review, its date and its star rating (not the review text and not the reviewer's name); and, where Amazon prints its brand box, the brand's recent-orders figure, its positive-rating percentage and the number of customers that is based on, and its years on Amazon.
These are details Amazon prints publicly on the page. From them the extension works out a demand range taken from Amazon's badge, tagged ESTIMATE, and an Easy Ship fee and GST at each product's price. Where Amazon prints no badge, the panel shows a dash tagged UNKNOWN; it never fills the gap with a figure of its own. That arithmetic happens inside your browser; nothing is sent anywhere to do it.
4. What it keeps in your browser
- Your Radar Cloud sign-inAfter you press Connect on app.zaivdigital.com, the extension keeps your session token and the email address you are connected as in its own private storage (chrome.storage.local). They are used only to send your captures to your account. The email is shown only inside the extension's own Send box in the panel, as "connected as", and is never handed to the amazon.in page or its scripts. To delete both, remove the extension at chrome://extensions (Remove). The extension also deletes them itself if Radar Cloud refuses to renew or accept the session, for example after your account is deleted.
- Panel preferencesWhether the panel is set to wide, which table columns you have hidden, and whether the product-page strip is shown. These sit in your browser's local storage for amazon.in, on your own computer, so the panel remembers them next time. They never leave your computer. Clearing amazon.in's site data in Chrome's settings removes them.
- The page you are readingHeld in the tab's memory while the tab is open, so the table and the CSV export can be built. Closing the tab clears it.
CSV export builds the file inside your browser and saves it to your computer. Nothing is uploaded to make it.
5. What leaves your computer, and when
Apart from the thumbnails described in section 2, every request the extension makes goes to Radar Cloud. None goes to anyone else.
- When you press SendSend is a button the extension draws itself, inside the Radar panel, and it acts only on your own click; a script on the amazon.in page cannot press it for you. When you press it, the extension reads the tab you are on and sends that one capture to your own Radar Cloud workspace, signed with your own session token. A capture is what section 3 lists for that page, plus values worked out from it (on a product page: volumetric weight, chargeable weight, the ratio between them, and the combined share of one- and two-star ratings; on a search page: the summary below), the time it was read, a tool identifier with a format version number, and its calculation settings. For a search page the summary holds counts, medians, averages, quartiles, highest and lowest prices, and percentages (such as the average discount and the top seller's share of the page's badge units), the brand names that appear most often on the page, taken from the first word of each title, and a revenue ESTIMATE for the page: each product's "bought in past month" badge figure multiplied by its price, added up. That figure comes from Amazon's badge, not from a model, and is a floor, not a sales figure.
- Keeping you signed inWhen you press Send and your session token is close to expiry, the extension first renews it with Radar Cloud's sign-in service. That request carries the token, not anything about the pages you read.
Beside the button, the panel says: "Send uploads this page's figures to your own Radar Cloud account. Nothing is sent until you press Send."
There is no automatic upload: nothing is sent when a page loads, when you open the panel, or on a timer, and there is no daily background capture. If you never press Send, nothing you read leaves your computer.
6. Your Radar Cloud account
- AccountYour email address, an optional display name, your plan, and when you signed up. You sign in at app.zaivdigital.com with a link or a six-digit code emailed to you. There is no password.
- Accounts are by invitationFor now, Radar Cloud accounts are opened by invitation: the sign-in page sends a link or code only to an address we have already opened an account for. To ask for one, write to support@zaivdigital.com. Without an account, the panel, the calculator and CSV export still work, and Send stays switched off.
- What else it keepsThe list of ASINs and search terms your captures have touched, daily usage counters used to enforce plan limits and stop abuse, and ordinary access logs (IP address, time and browser) kept by our web host and our database provider.
- Where it is storedRadar Cloud runs on Supabase, our cloud database provider, in its ap-northeast-2 region (Seoul, South Korea), so captures you send are stored outside India. The app's pages are served by Hostinger, and load their typeface from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address and browser details. No paid plan is on sale and no payment is taken. If paid plans start, Razorpay will take the payment on its own pages and we will receive the payment status and an order reference, never your card or UPI details; this page will be updated first.
- Who can read itOnly the members of your workspace. The database itself enforces this with row-level access rules. We have administrator access to run the service, take backups and fix an account when its owner asks; we do not read your captures for any other purpose. One housekeeping job runs every night across all workspaces: it finishes incomplete captures, trims history to your plan's window, rolls up the usage counters and removes orphaned files. It reads the contents of your captures for nothing else.
The full description of the cloud side, including every table it keeps, is in the Radar app's privacy policy at app.zaivdigital.com/privacy.html.
7. The kinds of data, in the Chrome Web Store's terms
- Personally identifiable informationThe email address of your Radar Cloud account. On a product page, the seller name Amazon shows, which can be a person's name.
- Authentication informationYour Radar Cloud session token.
- Web historyIn each capture you send: the search term or the product's ASIN, and the time the page was read.
- Website contentThe figures section 3 lists, read from the page you have open.
Each is used only as this page describes. From the extension, none of it leaves your computer except the session renewal that happens when you press Send, and the captures you choose to send.
8. How long it is kept, and deletion
- Captures you sendKept, with the tables extracted from them, for as long as your account exists.
- Tracker and alert tables built from your capturesTrimmed every night to your plan's retention window, which is 30 days on the free plan.
- Deleting your accountEmail support@zaivdigital.com from your sign-in address. We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days. It deletes your workspace and every capture and table under it; raw capture files are removed by the nightly clean-up.
- BackupsBackups taken by the database provider expire on the provider's own schedule and are read only to restore the service.
- What is in your browserRemove the extension at chrome://extensions (Remove) to delete the sign-in. Clear amazon.in's site data to delete the panel preferences. Removing the extension does not delete your Radar Cloud account or your captures; for that, email support@zaivdigital.com from your sign-in address, as above.
9. What we never do
The use of information received by this extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Sell or transferWe do not sell your data, and we do not transfer it to anyone, including advertising platforms and data brokers.
- AdvertisingWe do not use your data for advertising, and the extension shows no ads.
- Credit and lendingWe do not use your data, or let anyone use it, to decide creditworthiness or for lending.
- Other purposesWe use your account details to sign you in, your captures to show them back to you, and the usage counters to enforce plan limits and stop abuse; and all of it to keep the service running and safe from misuse. Nothing else. No person reads your captures unless you ask us to (for example, to fix your account), it is needed to stop misuse, or the law requires it.
- Other usersWe never use one user's captures to build or adjust another user's numbers.
- Code and trackingThe extension contains no analytics, no advertising code and no tracking, and runs no code from outside its own package.
- Legal requestsWe disclose data only if a lawful order from an Indian court or authority requires it, and we tell you unless the order forbids it.
The zaivdigital.com website, including this page, uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking, as its own privacy policy explains. The extension uses neither.
